Local Broadcasts of National and Local Debates on TV, Radio, Facebook, and Zoom

KRWG-TV Las Cruces will broadcast state and federal candidate forums and debates through October. In addition to broadcasting the debates on KRWG-TV 22.1 on the dates listed below, the programs will be archived on the station’s website and on the KRWG News YouTube channel.

While not yet scheduled for KRWG, there will be two debates between the candidates for our NM House seat in District 38, Republican Rebecca Dow and Democrat Karen Whitlock. The first, hosted by the Silver City Daily Press, will take place on Zoom on Monday, September 21 at 6 p.m. Call the Daily Press at 575-388-1576 for access to Zoom.

The second, hosted by the Sierra County Sentinel, will take place on Tuesday, September 29, at 6. It will be followed at 6:30 by a debate between candidates for our New Mexico Senate seat in District 35, Republican Crystal Diamond and Democrat Neomi Martinez-Parra. The evening’s concluding debate, at 7 p.m., will be between Democrat Rodolpho (Rudy) Martinez and Republican Luis Terrazas, candidates for NM Senate District 39.

The Sentinel debates will be broadcast on KCHS 101.9 FM and live-streamed on the Sentinel’s Facebook page.
