Dear Sierra County Democrats:

We are looking for people who would like to serve administratively in the following roles: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary.

If you are interested or can help find people who would like to be in an executive position in our county party please let me know. The election will be held in February, and we have challenges in front of us.

Additionally, there is an opening on the T or C School Board that occurred due to the resignation of Crystal Diamond. The position is appointed by the current board and will be good until November 2021 when a formal election will take place. Meetings are on the second Monday of each month and are held in person and via Zoom. If you are interested, you can send a letter indicating your interest and desire to be appointed to: Central Services, 910 Date Street, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901. You will need to apply by December 4th.

Our last meeting (held on Go to Meeting) had only 7 attendees. We need many more of you showing up (online or calling in by phone) to sustain the local party. We need you there for our election of party officers. Many of you volunteered during the election season, and that was wonderful. Our work didn’t end with the election. The grassroots effort that takes place every month and every year is what makes our work at election time possible. We need your input, your voice, and suggestions on how to motivate Sierra County Dems to participate in the future. Thanks for your help!
